The DI-1M and DI-2M torque testers are designed for calibration verification of pneumatic, electric, impact, pulse, and continuous drive torque tools. A large display indicates the peak torque value in either direction and the number of blows. Data can be downloaded to your computer via the USB port for analysis with the optional SW-1SV-USB data acquisition software. DI-1M uses switches to control test settings. DI-2M features easy-to-use menu screens and buttons to program the unit.
The DI-2M offers Impact Sensitivity Adjustment (offset), which allows the user to control torque output to more closely match the manufacturer’s specifications. High/Low setpoints for both torque and blows give visible and audible alerts to enable Go/No Go testing. A Peak Down Minimum setting ensures that continuous drive tools won’t lock up the unit before breakaway torque is reached.

The readings displayed may vary from the actual torque that a tool applies to a thread joint, because testers cannot always duplicate actual joint characteristics. Verify the torque output of the tool being used on the actual assembly, when critical assemblies are involved.
