FGC Preset Cam-Over Torque Wrenches are designed to apply a preset torque for fastening of critical components. A precision cam-over mechanism ensures the same torque is applied regardless of the operator. Over torquing is impossible even with continued turning.
The FGC wrenches are pre-set at the factory to your requirements. Specify your preset value when ordering. Under normal use, yearly calibration is sufficient, however; routine calibration checks on a torque analyzer would be considered prudent. Standard accuracy +/- 6% for the FGC-5 and FGC-10 models, and +/- 4% for the FGC-30, FGC-75 and FGC-125. Only tightening in the CW direction is available.
